OMAS Food Machinery 1.1.1

Omas Spa was founded in 1950 with the aim of supplying butchers and food shops slicers and other machines necessary for meat processing. In 1950 the original flywheel slicer Omas was born: the S9 model, the first produced in the area. In the sixties the evolution and improvements in slicers and other machines produced by Omas continue, the company has reached an important international presence that is not limited to Europe alone: ​​in 1962 Omas arrives first in the Far East and then arrives in Australia . The increase in production is such that in 1964 an aluminum foundry was opened in order to better control the characteristics of casting and quality of the components and of the metal used for the construction of the Omas products. The foundry still accompanies the activity of the company.
The strengths of the company, its pride, are above all the continuous technological research, the innovation, the strong commercial diversification, from America to the Far East, the guarantee of a very high quality of materials and production processes, all ensured by the skills acquired over the course of more than sixty years of activity, by the skills of its technicians and workers, who over the years have internalized the company's school and become guarantors of the quality of the products. Omas is characterized by having kept a craft soul parallel to the profound technological evolution and constant renewal of equipment, spaces and processing techniques. This allows it to meet the needs of each individual customer and to customize production for the most demanding customers. The company looks a bit like a haute couture tailor.
